The “Masia”

Mas Murtra is a medieval masía (farmhouse), built in the 14th century with the typical “Catalan arches”. The restoration of Mas Murtra was completed in 2007, with great respect to the typical architectural forms of the masias and taking into account the scenery and the forest that surrounds it.

Now Mas Murtra is a tourist accommodation situated on a rural property, surrounded by an oak forest and just 5 minutes from Girona city. You can rent the whole house (26/30 people) for groups or family celebrations, or individual apartments or independent suites. All apartments combine comfort and charm, have panoramic views and are fully equipped. The house is surrounded by terraces, a generous garden and a private forest. And of course there is a swimming pool with a sunbathing area.
Accommodation can be arranged according to your needs, from 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 16 up to 30 people.

The garden and the forest surrounding the masia offer different private areas where you can find peace and tranquillity in this unique spot. You can discover them walking around or using the bicycles that Mas Murtra has at your disposal.

In summer, you can spend the day outside take advantage of the terraces and garden furniture provided for each apartment, prepare a barbecue in the garden, sunbath by the pool. In winter you can enjoy the sun-hours at the terrace areas protected from the wind, and spend the evenings by the fireplace.
